| There could be several reasons: Card not activated: Cards from leasing companies are always activated for public charge points. If you want to use it on your own charge point, you still need to link it to your account. If you have another card, activate it in the Shell App. Poor reading: The card might not be read properly. The Shell Recharge card uses RFID, like contactless payment. Always take the card out of your wallet before starting or stopping a session. If it doesn’t work, move the card slowly past the reader or adjust the distance. Damaged card: Check if the card is worn or damaged. If so, request a new one. Charge point issue: If you're charging at a non-Shell Recharge point, contact the provider listed on the charge point. Their phone number is usually displayed. |
